Clearascar: The Scar Solution In A Tube

Clearascar: The Scar Solutions in a Tube
Clearascar: The Scar Solution in a Tube, does this work?๐Ÿค”

The worst thing about getting breakouts? Definitely the scars that stubborn acne leaves. This is where Clearascar: The Scar Solution in a Tube comes in.ย I’m skeptical as to how this one works because believe me when I say I’ve tried ALL the products out there in the market that promises to remove even the darkest and deepest of scars, at the end of the tube, the scars will be lighter, but the “dent” on my skin is still there.

It’ll only make me feel like I’ve wasted my money and my freaking effort making sure to apply the cream on my face twice daily, without a miss! I’ve had someone say to me that the only reason I’d ever get rid of the “dents” on my face is if I transfer some of my butt skin to my face. It may sound hilarious, but it makes sense.๐Ÿ˜‚

I don’t even really know if that’s what they do, but it makes sense to take skin from your ass, as it’s like the smoothest skin a person does have.๐Ÿ˜‚

The Clearascar Promise

According to the product description, Clearascar can improve the appearance of scars in as little as 8 weeks, so in 2 months, you should be able to see a difference in your skin. Not going to lie, that is fast and I definitely am more interested to try this out more now, because what’s 8 weeks for a clearer skin?

It’s 100% silicone, which is responsible for whitening, softening and flattening the appearance of scars. This one is definitely what I’m looking for, as I’m hoping it will even out the “dents” on my face, they’re not so deep, so I’m hoping Clearascar can still fix it.

So, just like all the other scar gels in the market, you are advised to apply this 2x daily.

Disclosure:

Although it can be used on all types of scars caused by whatever reason, burns, cuts, surgeries, injuries, etc., it works best on elevated scars such as hypertrophic scars and keloids. So, does acne marks fall under “etc.”? Hmm.๐Ÿค”

According to the Scar Management Guidelines for Treating Asian Patients, silicone gels and topical silicone therapy are and will continue to be the preferred first line of treatment for hypertrophic scars because of its availability, price and ease of application, not to mention its lack of serious adverse effects and relative efficacy. Okay, so “relative efficacy” doesn’t sound too good for me, because then again it means it only works on certain skin types, for certain scars and under certain conditions. Much in the same way in life.๐Ÿ˜ถ

Also, it also mentions in their like disclosure policy that it doesn’t quite work well with deep acne scars, but like I said, my “dents” aren’t that deep. They’re hardly even noticeable, so I want them out.

The effectivity of Clearascar also can be seen when the scar is relatively new, so then again, I’ve had these “dents” for a while now, so I’m thinking, yeah, my butt skin, on my face.๐Ÿ˜†

I’d still give it a try though, if only to avoid getting butt skin and then covering my face with it.๐Ÿ˜‚

You can get Clearascar on all leading drugstores nationwide like Mercury and Watsons and is also available online atย https://shop.clickhealth.com.ph/index.php/clearascar/. It costs Php418.95 for a 6g tube and Php761.20 for a 15g tube. So yeah, kind of pricey, but hey, I bet it’s more affordable than having an operation to harvest your butt skin and put it on your face.๐Ÿ˜‚

So, I’m going to try this out, and I will get back to you in 8 weeks for the results.ย If you do try this out before me, please let me know how it goes for you!

Hit me baby, one more time!

  1. I’m commenting again, I didn’t know if my previous went through.. just to make sure… thanks for sharing this post. I sure should remember this brand the next time I’ll be looking for a scar cream.

  2. Wow! But I think it is good for scars that don’t leave holes. Mine are colorless scars that leave craters. ๐Ÿ™ I was told I need collagen injections na for these.

  3. Never heard of this brand, but its purpose is interesting. Who’s the maker?
I use animal tallow for my scars and works well, its natural made and not expensive.

  4. I haven’t used this product yet but would also love to know if it works. I don’t get a lot of acne anymore now but I did have them when I was a teenager and they left some scars on my face.

  5. Wow, I have 2 boxes of clearascar but haven’t tried it yet. I have keloids so will definitely try it soon! I hope it works coz I have been carrying this scar for 18 years now and it’s ugly!
